We are partnering with a trusted construction firm in British Columbia looking for a skilled and
experienced Welder to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for welders with a solid

About the Role

As a Welder, you will be responsible for welding and fabricating metal components for various construction projects. You’ll work closely with other tradespeople and site supervisors to ensure all welds are performed to specifications, adhering to safety standards and regulations. The ideal candidate will be proficient in welding techniques, quality control, and equipment maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

Follow all safety guidelines, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), to maintain a safe work environment.

Maintain welding tools and equipment to ensure proper functioning.

Ensure all baked goods meet quality standards for both taste and appearance.

Prepare and clean metal surfaces for welding by cutting, grinding,and shaping materials as required.

Read and interpret blueprints and welding drawings to ensure precision in all welds.

Perform welding tasks using MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniques to assemble and repair metal structures

What We’re Looking For

Education:

Red Seal Certification as a Welder in British Columbia (preferred but not mandatory).

Experience:

Within Canada:

At least 3 years of welding experience in construction or fabrication.

Outside Canada:

At least 3 years of welding experience in construction or fabrication.

Language Skills:

No language skills requirement

Skills:

Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniques, with experience in steel, aluminum, and stainless steel welding

Ability to work in physically demanding environments, including lifting heavy materials, working at heights, and exposure to heat
